9-10 sept. 2014 Clermont-Ferrand (France)

Fifteen years later, it is our honor to organize the second conference on metacognition in Clermont-Ferrand, which will be held from the 9th to the 10th of September 2014. Three invited speakers of worldwide renown, Asher KORIAT, Janet METCALFE and Bennett SCHWARTZ will present their recent contributions to the field of metacognition. The focus of the 2nd Clermont-Ferrand conference is on both fundamental theory and applied psychological research. The conference will cover topics that range from developmental perspectives on human learning to memory processes in populations with varying pathologies. In organizing this conference, we hope to encourage an international exchange on the cutting edge of research in metacognition. We are also confident that this conference, by bringing together expertise from all over the world, will promote new research avenues including, in fine, metamemory, metacognition in social psychology, metacognition and time perception, optimization of cognitive potential, and subjective well-being. http://metacog2014.lapsco.fr/ ***If you wish that the abstract of your communication (1000 characters max.) will be publish in the program of the conference please send it to us before July 15th*** ***Any registration not accompanied with its payment cannot be taken into account***
